Keeping it real( Todays Topic)

Sorry missed afew days here, Bullshit can make it happen, but lets get right into it.

Keeping it real. is
being true to yourself, not worrying what other people think
if ya say your gonna do something do it, dont just say it

Shit aint got nothing to do with Gangsters, and talking shit, Being a hard ass, following people around forums and talkin mad shit on them. That just shows how insignificant your life is, get on with it,.

When i got to my homenoys forums, i have one agenda in mind, and that is to help him grow his site, into something of greatness. If it means i gotta bite my tongue over someone or a few someones. Then I do it.

Just because someone says something doesnt make it true. I mean shit my neoghbor can call me a skinny little white kid, and everyone that knows me , knows that shit aint true. and for the people that might not know me , and think its true.... Who cares

I have tryed to stay nuetral, in a lot of matters, and let people handle their own business, but when people see their true colors, they think im a life preserver and want to bring my name into it. Aint gonna work. Now this might be about 1 or 2 in particular, people i have went out of my way to try to be cool with, and ride the fence when they were beefing with mine. The rest of you, I love Yall cats, if ya think this might be you, message me, or hit me up, ill be real honest.

but i keep it real this way, support the artists, some of my favorites go check them out, stump, haystak, paleface, hydro. I come to the forums, try to p[resent positive stuff, and buy their music. Now i have been criticized that that makes me a consumer.

ok so tell me why else they made the music, please enlighten me. Cause I know everyone says they do it for the love, but if they are serious about it , they use their craft to feed their family. You think if everyone stopped buying stephen kings books he would keep writing. Probably not. So while all the e-thugs out here keep it so real. im just a human being, and im gonna keep it realer.

State Of Hip Hop

Today I want to talk a little about the state of Hip Hop. I have been hearing fans lately, saying. The rappers are killing hip hop, etc, and so forth. We need to sit back and take a look at that closely, Certain rappers are succesful, because people buy their music. It is just as much our faults as consumers, as it is their. If you buy and support, Garbage. They will make and sell Garbage. IF all Hip Hop fans stuck together, stood up as one, and said. We will not support the way this movement is going, artists, producers, and labels, Would have no choice, But to give us what we demand. That is how the Civil Rights era worked , if im correct. People were not willing to sit back and take the abuse handed out by the people in the position of power. Well as consumers, we are in the position of power. We pay the artists, labels, and producers. Think of it this way. When you go into a store, do you just hand over money, and then they go get ya the stuff, from the shelves without asking? No you go in and find what you specifically want, And then pay for it. So my challenge for you is this. Only support, the people who represent your ideals, That is how we can effect change.

Happy Thanksgiving Every one

There are a ton of things I'm grateful for, and ill go over a few,

First and Foremost.

Friends and Family. Couldn't make it through life without them, My kids and Girlfriend. Those are the people that give me reason to live.

I'm grateful for music, in general, Music is my release in life, I'm grateful for Rap. It gave me my identity as I grew up in the early 80's. It gave me a voice to the little people, The have nots, We grew up in section 8 neighborhoods, We stood in line for cheese , honey, and cans of pork. If you were there you know what i mean, If you weren't , ask ill tell ya. Our heroes were those who could go out on the streets, with nothing but, a friend who would beat box for them. And they would get the whole crowd moving. They didn't have Bentley's, Gold grills, or all the riches. They had a style, and finesse, or "swagger" if you will, that was not bought with money. There are a few rappers that stand out in my head these days that I'm Grateful for , this list is on no particular order

E-40 - For the hyphy Movement and always keeping that shit banging

Haystak - For rapping about things i can relate to, and always been real down to earth and kickin it when I've met him

Stump Diddy - For keepin it real, and being accessible to his fans. And also for making a place for all of us to kick it.

Jim-E-Mac. You deserve to make it big man, You got talent. Just keep making those bangers, Man. It will come.

There are more, but ill leave them for next episode, I'll leave ya with this for the moment.
